Special School

Discontented and unhappy childhood leads to major psychiatric conditions in the later years of a person. This discontentment and unhappiness occurs when the differently-able are left behind in our education system where the children with mainstream faculties compete and score well.

The Pelican Centre proposes to start a Special School aiming at providing differently-able student individual attention and a suitable educational program which will help them to be a part of the main stream.

The proposed special school will:

• Provide individual attention to students to learn on their own at ease
• Get accredited to National Institute of Open Schooling
• Help students to be in the main stream when grown up
• Conduct various vocational education courses and life enrichment programs
