The Pelican Centre is an open door for the needy and mentally challenged people of our society. We try to provide a space for their rehabilitation and care through which they are made capable of leading a near-normal life.

Kerala, the state of India, with high development indices is also one that boasts of high rates of mental health problems. For this seemingly progressing society, the high incidence of mental health issues is an indicator that all is not well with its people. It is not uncommon to see the mentally deranged walking about aimlessly in public spaces often uncared for by the society. It is for these people who are by no fault of theirs, pushed to the margins of the society that this Centre aims to provide a succour.
